Be Safe have had a charitable wing for some years now. It's main aim was to provide funding for community groups, so that they could access the weapons awareness training.

In this format, the charity has been able to help such groups, but Kevin and David could see that there was so much morew that the charity could do.

Early in 2010, the charity has been relaunched with some new trustees. Kevin Jenkins OBE now chairs the trustees and Ann Oakes Odger joined the team. Ann's own son lost his life to knife crime and Ann brings a new dimension to the team. She has a special interest in victims families and we hope that this is another area we can work to improve through the new format project.

We are currently fundraising to help us carry on with the good work we have completed over the last few years.

Until we have completed some fundraising, we are unable to do much more than offer advice, but watch this space for news of our progress and we hope to be able to make some exciting anouncements later this year.
